National Corvette Museum

We stopped for a visit at the National Corvette Museum today in Bowling Green, KY.  Very cool!  Most of the vettes on display are privately owned and on loan to the museum.  Rick specifically wanted to find a 1961.  We hunted and hunted and found pretty much every other year, but not that one.  One of the museum people said that is one of the few years they do not have in the collection --- poor Rick!

There is one from a racing team in Ayer, MA that was donated by a gentleman from Groton.

There was a room at the end of the self-guided tours that was all (Non-vette) muscle cars.  My heart was racing in that room:  Chevelle, Shelby Mustang, Javlin, GTO, Firebird, Challenger, and others.

That was a great stop!
